Therefore, we have started an ambitious procurement digitalization strategy, key in this strategy is to drive for more automation and more data driven decision making. Therefore, we are radically reengineering our procurement landscape from a country-driven and localized setup, towards an integrated international setup.

This requires a true Business Architect; You know how to use technology to make Procurement run as clockwork, you act as timer to ensure we meet our ambitious goals and be an alarm if we can do better! In the procurement landscape we have a large SAP and Microsoft footprint, with more than 20.000 users spread over six countries.

We are looking for a Business Architect Procurement Solutions:

Responsibilities

• Establish a digitalization strategy with focus on business and information architecture for the complete procurement landscape

• Ensure a multi-year outlook on how this digitalization strategy is or will be supported by IT systems.​

• Together set the direction for these new international and international processes and identify required changes

• Secure alignment on processes with stakeholders (CPO, Procurement Directors, Procurement staff in the Business Areas)

• Ensure a procurement IT landscape that fits the enterprise architecture (e.g., with a companywide implementation of S/4HANA))

• Ensure Procurement business processes and application portfolio are documented and kept up to date​

• Contribute to IT Architecture and Security Reviews during projects and solution evaluations, and execute together with Vattenfall IT

Your profile

Our ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned Business Architect, that has hands-on experience with procurement transformation initiatives,  preferably (in prior assignments) as Architect or Consultant within international companies.

You feel comfortable communicating with both Procurement colleagues and IT colleagues on different levels in the organization. You enjoy being in an ever-changing environment.

Furthermore, you bring:

• An academic degree in IT or related study

• Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Business Architecture Frameworks

• A deep understanding of all procurement processes (source to contract, procure to pay, supplier management, spend insight etc.) and know how these can be supported by IT.

• A clear understanding of market trends, e.g., related to sustainability, regulations, industry standards

• Excellent business consultancy skills to identify opportunities for optimization and know how to convince senior stakeholders to set priorities

• Confidence to produce enterprise ready architecture document

• Broad functional knowledge of procurement-specific IT solutions (e.g. SAP MM, eProcurment (S2C))

• You aim to be trusted advisor of the Procurement Leadership Team to develop their IT landscape and set IT priorities.

Additional information

Location: for this position you can choose to be based Sweden (Stockholm, Solna); The Netherlands (Amsterdam) or Germany (Hamburg, Berlin) You will be expected to travel approximately a few days per month between these locations.
