Our global Group IT function of +200 employees, who the GN Group across the world, delivering business critical applications and infrastructure to manage the full value chain from sales to manufacturing and distribution for several of our subsidiaries (GN Group cover the global scope of GN Hearing and GN Audio).
As our new Manager for Digital Commercial Platform for GN Hearing, you will be based at our global HQ, located in Ballerup Denmark – and report to the Director, Kristian Grovermann.
Lead, manage and develop your team in an Agile global environment
You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of 10 passionate and supportive technical professionals, incl. Salesforce specialists, administrators, and developers. All work with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our many Digital Commercial Platforms covering CRM, Service, CPQ and Marketing automation platforms, to name a few.
You will have full people management responsibility of your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, team-spirit and professional and personal development. And you need to ensure that your team is adhering to our Agile principles - such as prioritizing customer value, delivering small increments of functionality, and continuous improvements.
Specifically, your responsibilities will be:
Day to day people management:

Manage and develop your team through personal development plans and team collaboration

Foster team motivation and team spirit
Platform strategy:
-
Developing visions, strategies, goals, and roadmaps for your team in collaboration with our other IT departments to ensure Digital Commercial Platforms are in alignment with the overall company strategy

Ensure platforms continuously improve and evolve to meet changing business needs and align processes for platform management
Platform ownership:
-
Ensure technical ownership at right level for all Commercial Platforms

Follow up on objectives and development of platform owners

Leading your team in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the commercial platform landscape for our business unit, GN Hearing

Enabling the team can manage the development process phases (A-Z)
Platform metrics and utilization:

Be responsible for monitoring platform utilization is as expected by business and taking appropriate steps to change/offboard underutilized platforms

Adhere to quality standards, industry best practices, Scrum, and Agile methodologies and principles and collaborate with external vendors and partners
To be successful in your new role at GN, you will need to collaborate with both internal-, and external stakeholders, in an agile and constantly changing global environment ensuring your team delivers value to the organization and can adapt to changing priorities, focus and requirements.
You should also expect working most of your time at the office in Ballerup to establish people rapport will your team and stakeholders, while being able to work from home, as part of company policy.

We imagine that you are an experienced people manager with well-developed interpersonal abilities, motivating and inspiring your team members to achieve their full potential. You are team-orientated, supportive and able to communicate complex IT concepts to technical-, and non-technical, stakeholders. You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities enabling you to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Moreover, we imagine that you have:

Solid leadership experience of technical teams of min. 5 people – preferably from similar digital commercial platform development and software development lifecycles in a complex, global organization

Experience and deep understanding of Agile principles & practices and the ability to apply them to the team's work processes. You are familiar with Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
Fluent written and spoken English skills
